(Des Moines, IA) – One lucky person, Irish or not, will have a St. Patrick’s Day to remember when they win the Dinner and Drafts promotion from the Iowa Wine and Beer Promotion Board and Dine Iowa.
Now through noon on March 17, people can register at www.traveliowa.com for a chance to win a $50 gift certificate to their favorite Iowa brewery, a $50 gift certificate to their favorite Dine Iowa restaurant and an iPad2.
“According to an about.com poll, more people closely associate beer with St. Patrick’s Day than any other holiday,” said Colleen Murphy of the Iowa Wine and Beer Promotion Board, an initiative of the Iowa Economic Development Authority. “We thought it would be a great tie in to promote Iowa’s booming craft beer industry. We currently have 25 breweries serving up a wide variety of lagers and ales.”
The winner will be announced on the Iowa Wine and Beer Facebook page (www.facebook.com/IAwineandbeer) at 3:17 p.m. on March 17.
