MASON CITY – A man with a violent past and a bad case of the brown bottle flu is back in the can for more allegedly drunken behavior.
Timothy Scot Lumley, age 53, was arrested by Mason City police for third or subsequent offense public intoxication, a charge he has faced before, due to his drunken behavior. Officers were sent to 210 1st Street SW on August 3 at about 11:11 PM to deal with a dispute, and discovered Lumley at the scene. He was taken to jail and held on $2,000 cash or surety bond. He will be in court Monday for a bond review hearing.
Lumly is a three-time convicted felon, of crimes consisting of burglary and domestic assault causing injury.
