CLERMONT, IOWA – A young Northern Iowa man crashed and rolled his pickup truck and a child was sent to a hospital as a result.

On March 7, 2026, at approximately 8:16 PM, Fayette County Communications received report of a single vehicle rollover accident near the intersection of Garden Road and Harding Road near Clermont, Iowa.

When deputies arrived, it was determined that 18-year-old Cameron Hubka of West Union, Iowa, was driving southbound on Garden Road when he lost control of his vehicle, apparently a pickup truck, entered the ditch and rolled over, causing approximately $5,000.00 in damage.

A juvenile passenger was transported by private vehicle to a local hospital.

Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by West Union Fire Department, Gundersen Ambulance Service, and Torkelson’s Auto.
