OBIT: Darcy E. Ostercamp

Darcy E. Ostercamp, 63, of Mason City, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026, at the IOOF Home surrounded by family. A celebration of Darcy’s life will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 1 p.m., at the All Vets Center, 1603 S. Monroe Ave., with Pastor Shane Philpott officiating.

June 10, 1692 — January 25, 2026

Darcy E. Ostercamp, 63, of Mason City, passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026, at the IOOF Home surrounded by family. A celebration of Darcy’s life will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 1 p.m., at the All Vets Center, 1603 S. Monroe Ave., with Pastor Shane Philpott officiating. Memorials may be directed to the family of Darcy Ostercamp.

Darcy was born in Iowa to Joyce Julsen (DeWitt). She later married the love of her life, Gary Ostercamp, on August 31, 2012, and together they shared many meaningful years.

Throughout her life, Darcy worked in many different roles and was known for her strong work ethic and her willingness to help wherever she was needed. She was a devoted member of Christian Fellowship Church, where her faith, kindness, and compassion touched the lives of many.

In her free time, Darcy cherished spending time with her husband, especially enjoying target shooting together and playing pool. She loved being surrounded by friends, deeply treasured her dog, Harley, and found true joy in helping others. Darcy had a big heart and was loved by many.

Darcy is survived by her loving husband, Gary Ostercamp; two sons, David Julsen and his wife Lisa, and Duane Julsen and his wife Evelyn; three stepchildren, Joel Ostercamp, Cory Ostercamp, and Amber Ostercamp; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Craig Julsen and Mike Julsen and his wife, Vikki.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Julsen, and her brother, Brad Julsen.

Darcy will be remembered for her generosity, compassion, and the love she shared so freely with those around her.
