ADAMS COUNTY, IOWA – A Texas motorcyclist lost control of his bike Saturday afternoon and struck a bridge, tragically costing him his life.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, a fatal motorcycle accident took place on May 10, 2025, in Adams county, Iowa. At 2:03 PM that day, a 2000 Yamaha motorcycle operated by 25-year-old Tevin Takeo Wilson of Amarillo, Texas, was westbound on 180th Street between Quince Avenue and Redwood Avenue. The motorcycle began to wobble for unknown reasons, and Wilson lost control of the bike and struck the barrier face of the Mt. Zion Branch Bridge. Wilson then went over the barrier and landed on the rocks below as the bike continued to slide westbound.

As a result of the accident, Tevin was pronounced deceased at the scene. He was then transported to the state medical examiner by Pearson Funeral Home.
