WAVERLY – A Minnesota woman traveling on the Avenue of the Saints near Waverly lost control of her motorcycle and the bike rolled, leading to her hospitalization.
The accident took place Tuesday, June 11 around 9 AM near the 198 mile marker on the Avenue of the Saints in Bremer county. Sandra Howe, age 55 of North Mankato, Minnesota, was southbound on the Avenue when she lost control of her 2002 BMW motorcycle. She drove into the median and the bike rolled several times; Howe was ejected from the bike. Howe was taken to a Waverly hospital with undisclosed injuries.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Bremer county sheriff’s department, Waverly Ambulance and Fire, and Dale’s Towing.
