WASHINGTON, D.C. – Two peoples who seem to wage war and engage in atrocities against one another constantly have agreed to cease hostilities, President Joe Biden announced today.
“Today, I have good news to report from the Middle East,” President Joe Biden proclaimed this afternoon.
“I have spoken to the Prime Ministers of Lebanon and Israel. And I am pleased to announce: They have accepted the United States’ proposal to end the devastating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.
The latest round of ultra-barbaric war between the religious fanatics on both sides began back on October 7, 2023, when Hamas invaded Israel with soldiers and a torrent of missile attacks. Scores of Israelis were taken hostage, ripped from their homes and other public places as Israeli security was caught off-balance, while many others were murdered. Israel immediately invaded Lebanon and set about rescuing it’s citizen hostages while simultaneously wreaking revenge upon Hamas, Hezbollah and other terrorists.

Here is Iowa after the attack, Governor Kim Reynolds ordered flags to fly at half-staff and proclaimed Blue Ribbon Week in support of Israel. She also welcomed a top Israeli diplomat to the state capitol and offered up hundreds of pallets of stocked up COVID supplies to help with their war effort.
President Biden continued, saying at a press conference (pictured at top), “Under the deal reached today, effective at 4:00am tomorrow local time, the fighting across the Lebanese-Israeli border will end. Will end. This is designed to be a permanent cessation of hostilities…over the next 60 days Israel will gradually withdraw its remaining forces.”
Whether the war really ends or not is anybody’s guess, as these two sides have constantly been at war for decades.
