KANSAS CITY – No. 7 Iowa State will face No. 1 Houston in the 2024 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship Saturday night after beating Baylor Friday. Tip-off is at 5 PM on ESPN.
The Cyclones are making their sixth appearance in the Big 12 Championship, holding a 5-0 record in the title game.
Five Cyclones scored in double figures Friday night, as No. 7 Iowa State blasted No. 14 Baylor 76-62 in the 2024 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship Semifinals. With the win, Iowa State has defeated every school in the Big 12 this year, one of just two schools (Houston) in the league that did so. Keshon Gilbert led the Cyclones with 20 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and two steals. Curtis Jones added 13 points, while Milan Momcilovic had 11. Tamin Lipsey and Hason Ward each scored 10 points. Ward also had six rebounds, while Lipsey added six assists.

No. 7 Iowa State will find out its location and destination for the 2024 NCAA Tournament on Sunday night. The selection show is scheduled for 5 p.m. on CBS. The first round of the NCAA Tournament will be played on Thursday, March 21 or Friday, March 22.
