Larry Gene Morris 78, died Sunday November 12, 2023, at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, Mason City. Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel was entrusted with cremation services; it was Larry’s request to have no formal services.
Larry Gene Morris was born November 19, 1944, in Eldora, Iowa the son of B. Frank and Evelyn (Sanders) Morris. Larry attended and graduated high school from Eldora in the class of 1963. Larry continued his education at Drake University in 1967 and later at the University of Northern Iowa with his Master’s Degree. Larry worked in Human Services for the State of Iowa until his retirement. After retirement Larry relocated to Clear Lake; where he enjoyed socializing and spending time with his dog Moe.
Larry is survived by his son Greg (Jennifer) Morris of Lodi, Wisconsin; grandchildren Zachary, Breanna, Zaiden and Jaelynn Morris; great-grandchildren Vienna and Viviana Morris; step-grandchildren Trenton and Mason; one sister Carolyn Tweet of Eldora, Iowa.
Preceding Larry is death were is parents B. Frank and Evelyn Morris and one son Gary Morris.
