WALL LAKE, IOWA – An Iowa teen died when he an end-loader he was operating to scoop manure tipped over.
Saturday, December 15, 2017 the Sac County Sheriff’s Office and Wall Lake Fire / Rescue responded to the 2100 mile of 340th Northwest of Wall Lake at 12:44 PM on a reported end-loader roll over. When responders arrived, they found a 17-year old Ethan Glenn Nissen inside the cab. Nissen was pronounced dead at the scene. Nissen was working for Quirk Farms at the time and was operating a 200 Caterpillar end loader.
Nissen was scooping manure at the time of the accident.
Wall Fire / Rescue, Sac County Ambulance, Sac County Medical Examiner’s Office and the Iowa Department of Natural Resource Game Warden all responded to the scene.
