Where I grew up, most of the people spoke Polish or Slovak, we did not. Yet to a person, they also could speak and understand English if the chose to. Yes, it was their choice, and most times, even in public, it was other than English.

Any elective surgery should not be on the shoulders of the heavily taxed public. Everyone should be able to go see a doctor if needed, Should also be able to get medicine help if they need it. It is a elective surgery, and should not be paid for by the taxpayers. However there is nothing uniform about the look of downtown Mason City. What sparked my curiosity was a drive through downtown this morning, and noticing the new traffic standards they’re installing on Delaware Avenue.
There are more than eight different styled light standards in the downtown area. You would think that the powers that be would want some sort of uniform look to the downtown area. But as it stands it’s a hodgepodge of different kinds of Lights.
Where was the planning? Or did they just go shopping at Benny’s Bargain Basement and picked out the leftovers from somebody else’s project?

Any elective surgery should not be on the shoulders of the heavily taxed public. Everyone should be able to go see a doctor if needed, Should also be able to get medicine help if they need it. Even though some will argue that transgender issues are important. Having the surgeries to change physically from one sex to the other is a choice and not a surgery that has to happen for one to physically be alive. It is a elective surgery, and should not be paid for by the taxpayers. Myself it does not matter to me how anyone else lives their life. if you are a female and want to be male or vice versa, go do it. Get a job, save the money needed and have it done. Just do not make other people pay for your life choices.

Medicare/Medicaid does not routinely recognize the need for nor automatically approve the payment for sexual reassignment surgeries. President Obama had to combat the recession the Republicans created and yes, his deficit early on exceeded $1 trillion. He also inherited a $1 trillion deficit from President Bush. His last year in office (2017) the deficit was between $585-666 billion. Trump has increased the budget every year without having a financial crisis to add to it, just his spending and tax cuts. The estimates have it at $1.1 trillion in 2020.
