CLEAR LAKE – A Mason City man is facing a number of theft charges and is now in jail awaiting a court date.
Tyler Anton Meuer, age 25, was arrested by Cerro Gordo deputies on an arrest warrant on April 20. Clear Lake police, after an investigation, had filed a charge of aggravated misdemeanor third degree theft against Meuer for an alleged incident that took place on April 9.
Meuer is being held on $2,000 cash bond at this time until his court hearing on May 1.
Meuer is also facing a third degree theft charge brought by Mason City police on April 1. He was arrested that day and released the following day. He will be arraigned in the case on April 29.
