MASON CITY – A Mason City man who was released from prison in October is back in jail, accused of violating his parole.
Colton Lee Theilen, age 22, turned himself into the Cerro Gordo County Jail after 4:41 AM Monday morning. Theilen had been sent to prison earlier in 2014 after at least 5 violations in connection to a felony second degree theft charge in which he was found guilty by given a deferred judgment. He was released on October 8.
Theilen was sentenced to 5 years in prison but records show he only served a few months. He could face the rest of his sentence if the judge chooses to impose that. No court date has been set yet.
