KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Iowa State will play Alabama in the semifinals of the CBE Hall of Fame Classic on Monday, Nov. 24 at 8:30 p.m. (CT) on ESPN2, the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced today. Arizona State and Maryland will meet in the other semifinal matchup at 6 p.m. (CT) on ESPNU.
The championship game will be played on Tuesday, Nov. 25 at 8:30 p.m. on ESPNU following the consolation game, which will be shown on ESPN3.
Alabama, which finished 13-19 in 2013-14, is the third SEC opponent on the Cyclones’ schedule. ISU will host Arkansas on Dec. 4 in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge, while also meeting South Carolina at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Jan. 3.
