MASON CITY – Two people were kicked out of a Mason City rental house and made the task a little difficult for Mason City police.
Mason City police assisted a landlord in evicting two persons, Donyale Maria Jones, age 26 and Sammie Watters, age 40, from a multi-family dwelling at 204 North Madison Avenue because they “were not supposed to be on the property”.
During the course of the eviction, officers approached the residence in an attempt to make contact with the occupants. Jones answered the door but then tried to close it on officers and refused to cooperate. She was then arrested. Sammie Watters was cited twice for failure to license and twice for not vaccinating two dogs that were also on the property.
