MASON CITY – A Mason City man charged with felony arson and burglary now has a plea hearing scheduled after his trial was delayed 7 times.
Roger Kuck, age 57, is scheduled for a jury trail on July 15th. However, a plea hearing is now set for the day before, on July 14th.
Kuck is charged with felony C second degree arson, felony D third degree burglary, and trespassing related to a fire that destroyed a vacant house at 112 Brook Terrace. The house had been empty for months and was in foreclosure. Kuck was arrested after an investigation by police. He has pleaded not guilty and is represented by local attorney Joel Yunek. He is out on bond at this time.
