Mason City woman accused of strangulation arrested at bar for no-contact violation

MASON CITY – A Mason City woman accused of a felony domestic assault was arrested at a local bar for violating the court-imposed no-contact order in the case.

Mason City police were in Burke’s Bar, 1221 North Federal Avenue, on june 28th at about 12:41 AM when officers observed 22-year-old Cassandra Marie Hall in violation of a protective order between her and the victim of an alleged felony domestic assault that involved strangulation.

Hall was arrested and taken to jail, held on $300 cash bond. She awaits a July 8, 2014 court date. She awaits a July 11, 2014 arraignment on the felony domestic charge.
