HANLONTOWN – Two North Iowa men were arrested Monday after an assault at a rural Hanlontown house.
Cerro Gordo deputies responded to 23703 Eagle Avenue at about 7 PM Monday evening after a report was called in about an assault there.
Police arrested Rodney Rae Blodgett, age 55 of Clear Lake, for domestic assault, driving under suspension, and two counts of serious assault. Another male subject, Jason David Thompson of Forest City, was arrested for serious assault.
Blodgett was transported to Worth county to serve two days in jail.
Thompson was released Tuesday afternoon. The resident at 23703 Eagle Avenue was alerted to his release.
