Garner woman pleads not guilty to felony fraud charge

GARNER – A Garner woman has pleaded not guilty this week to a felony fraud charge.

Records show that Brooke Danielle Banse, age 30, pleaded not guilty Monday to felony C its degree fraudulent practice and aggravated misdemeanor tampering with records.

Banse is a Garner-Hayfield Community School District employee, employed as a student advocate/at risk coordinator. She is accused of filing false reports in order to collect Medicaid payments totaling over $10,000. She has been placed on paid leave from her job at an elementary school.

A jury trial date was set for June 4, 2014 in Hancock county district court.

  1. Without due process of law? Would it be OK for everyone, including yourself to be treated in like fashion, mon?

        1. It isn’t as if the police marched in to the school and arrested her because she didn’t do anything.

          1. Really? The police have never arrested anyone who was later found not guilty? That’s no way to talk about your wife.
