NIACC men play pair of games on road this weekend

niacc_trojans_logoCLINTON – The NIACC men’s basketball team returns to action Saturday with an ICCAC road contest against Clinton Community College.

Game time is set for 7 p.m.

The Trojans also play at the St. Ambrose junior varsity on Sunday. Game time is 2 p.m.

NIACC (12-5 overall, 1-2 in the ICCAC) topped No. 20 Iowa Lakes 95-75 on Wednesday. Sophomore David Humphries (Adelaide, Australia) led the Trojans with 25 points.

Clinton (0-13-0-4) dropped a 81-73 decision to Iowa Central on Wednesday.
Humphries averages 23.2 points per game to lead NIACC. Sophomore Sam Skogen (Mason City, Ia.) averages 13.0 points per game and sophomore Matthew Don (London, England) scores 11.8 points per game.

Clinton is led by Onterier Brown, who averages 16.0 points per game. Samuel Bil and BeeJay Caleb both average 9.8 points per game.
