Lawsuit against Worth County Development “satisfactorily resolved”

NORTHWOOD – A lawsuit brought by a North Iowa woman against the Worth County Development Authority (WCDA) has been dismissed.

Roxanne Conlin out of Des Moines represented Kimberly Koenigs in the lawsuit, which was filed on September 10th. The lawsuit was dismissed on November 14th.

Ms. Koenigs offered no comment.

Attorney Roxanne Conlin told NIT Wednesday that the “case was satisfactorily resolved.”

According to the lawsuit, Kimberly Koenigs founded the WCDA in 2003 and served as Executive Director until June 25th, 2012.

The lawsuit had alleged retaliation by the WCDA agaisnt Koenigs, as well as tortious infliction of emotional distress and sexual discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment.
