DES MOINES – Vernon Lee McEndree, an inmate assigned to the Iowa Medical and Classification Center, died November 16, 2013 at University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City.
McEndree died of natural causes from Atherosclerosis Heart Disease.
McEndree was 74 years old and serving a forty year sentence from Adams County for Sexual Abuse Third Degree (8 counts). This sentence began on May 18, 2012.
