AMES – TCU’s Trevone Boykin scored on a one-yard run with 38 seconds remaining as the Horned Frogs rallied to defeat Iowa State, 21-17, Saturday afternoon at Jack Trice Stadium in front of an announced attendance of 54,922. Turning Point of the Game
After trailing 14-7 at the half, Iowa State held a 17-14 lead as the game moved to the fourth quarter but the Cyclones were unable to increase the lead. The Horned Frogs took over at their own 42-yard line with just 2:34 remaining and ran 10 plays that resulted in Boykin’s sneak with just 38 seconds left. ISU was able to move the ball to its own 45 but that was all the closer it would get as TCU held on for its second Big 12 win.
