Proposed extension of Iowa 100 near Cedar Rapids to be discussed Nov. 13

AMES – The Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a public information meeting Wednesday, Nov. 13, to discuss the status of the proposed extension of Iowa 100 near Cedar Rapids, in Linn County, from the limits of U.S. 30 to Covington Road/Linn County Road W-36. Information will also be available regarding the section from Edgewood Road Northwest to Covington Road.

All interested persons are invited to attend this meeting anytime between 5 and 6:30 p.m. at the Iowa DOT District 6 Office, 5455 Kirkwood Blvd. SW, in Cedar Rapids. The meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Iowa DOT staff will be present to informally discuss the proposed improvements. A short presentation will be made at 5:30 p.m. in the District 6 Office’s conference room A.
