When Mayor Bookmeyer supported bringing the garbage burning facility to town, I was one of the citizens who had significant concerns about the safety of this facility. As a member of this community, I voiced my concerns and felt disrespected by Mayor Bookmeyer. My father taught me that involving all parties in a collaborative conversation regarding potential solutions was good governance. This is NOT what Mayor Bookmeyer engaged in. Rather, he did the opposite
In order to stop the process of a citizen based dialogue, the Mayor put up roadblocks everywhere he could. The process he created, made concerned citizens (including myself) feel like their opinions were not important and should not be taken seriously. I can only assume that he does not believe in democracy but rather in bookmeyer-cracy. Do you want someone for Mayor who disregards what you think in favor of advancing his own agenda?

Not sure where to address this SKIPPER guy from another planet or in other words the globe. You can’t get on the globe anymore it’s a paying deal now and they are not worth it. So I will put it here. Sorry it may be off the exact subject but not really.
You cannot tell me Skipper that you really believe in Bookmeyer? Really? If all the things he claims Matt or Max have said aren’t true then why hasn’t someone done anything? Bookmeyer has never even spoke on behalf of himself saying they are lying! People do that when they know! It’s a human reaction. Not once. He just lies and attacks.Why is it ok for him to do that?
Skipper get the whatever is in your mouth out for a minute(I can’t understand when you talk) and clear up your brain. Certainly you can’t agree with a mayor that yells at people and is a drunk, and all of his lies that are well documented at least for your family in the future, you’ll be gone. No it is the HATE for Max and Matt that is more strong then logical honest thinking. You are one sad man. The globe needs to upgrade and get some fresh new thinking on board.
I was sure wondering when will all the debates will be. Usually they are all booked by now, It looks to me that the ones in office right now are afraid to debate the new comers that want their job. What are they afraid of, I guess you can’t fix stupid. Good luck to all the ones that are going to take their job. Please get out and vote and vote them out and new leadership. Just sayin.
That’s how Bookmeyer rolls! WHY do people want that? Even as you tag them elite. Elite? ALL humans are the very same bodily. Mentally well…. the elite just THINK they are special with their few more pieces of gold.
They have to answer to someone someday and someone IS keeping track.
