MASON CITY – Two allegedly drunk Mason City women were picked up in Rock Falls earlier this week as they searched for Rock Falls, authorities said.

According to the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office, they were notified on July 20th at 10:24 AM of a possible intoxicated driver in Rock Falls.  A suspect vehicle was stopped at the Camp of the Woods and two females inside, looking for Rock Falls, were arrested.

Arrested were Jessica Lynn Kohler, 41 and Lynda Lee Lindsay, 32.  Kohler was charged with public intoxication.  Lindsay was charged with public intoxication (third offense), operating while under the influence, interference with official acts, failure to prove liability coverage, failure to provide valid driver’s license, and open container.  Lindsay has been picked up at least three prior times for OWI but beat one of the charges.

Lindsay posted $5,000 cash bond and was released.  She has to appear in court on July 31st.

Lindsay was also picked up by Mason City police on July 13th at The Lantern Restaurant in Mason City for public intoxication.
