FLOYD – Severe weather rolled through the North Iowa region Saturday afternoon.
Hail and heavy rain was reported in Mason City as the severe thunderstorm passed through.
Some residents reported a small funnel cloud in Floyd, Iowa Saturday evening. Residents there and in neighboring Charles City were taking cover as skies darkened at around 8 PM.
The area remained under a severe weather watch through the evening hours. Severe thunderstorms may be possible Sunday and Monday, the National Weather Service warned.
