D.A.: Lawyer offered price break for sex

PAULS VALLEY, Okla., Feb. 5 (UPI) — An Oklahoma lawyer allegedly offered a client a price break in exchange for sexual favors or nude pictures of her teenage daughters, investigators said.

Jeremy Oliver, 33, of Wynnewood was arrested Monday and his home was searched, the Garvin County Sheriff’s Office said. Sheriff Larry Rhodes said Oliver faces several charges including soliciting sexual conduct or communication with minor by use of technology, a felony.

The client involved has two daughters ages 18 and 13.

“From evidence at the residence, there is a real possibility there may other victims,” Rhodes said.

The investigation began several weeks ago. Investigators were with Oliver’s client Sunday when he sent text messages allegedly offering to take $1,000 off his bill “for sexual favors and/or nude pictures of the 18-year-old daughter,” The Oklahoman reported. The price for her 13-year-old daughter was $500.

Oliver is also alleged to have solicited sex from the mother.

In addition to the pornography, investigators said they found marijuana in Oliver’s home. He was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

The website for Oliver’s law practice indicates the firm provides assistance to “clients who need vigorous Criminal Defense; Native American Issues and Family Law representation.”

His profile at the LinkedIn networking website identifies him as “Attorney General Cheyenne/Arapaho Nation; General Counsel Caddo Nation-Oklahoma.”
