MASON CITY – Shannon Renae Lybarger of Mason City was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail at 1:28 pm, October 10th, 2012 on valid warrants after being picked up by Mason City police.
Lybarger, age 25, has been charged with interference with official acts, burglary in the 3rd degree, forgery and possession of stolen property.
According to online records, Lybarger has had two assault charges that were dismissed. Judge Carlynn Grupp dismissed a charge of assault on October 15, 2010 and on April 5, 2012, another charge of assault causing bodily injury was dismissed by Judge Gregg R. Rosenbladt.
Lybarger plead guilty to a negotiated/volunteer plea of disorderly conduct in August of 2011 and received a $100.00 fine.
In September of 2011, she paid a fine of $250.00 for the charge of driving while license denied, suspended, canceled or revoked.
A charge of contempt was put on Lybarger in September 2012 for disobedience to subpoena/refusal to testify in Story county in the case of Lincoln Edge Co-op vs Norris Hughes Jr.

This girl stole my son’s laptop, 32″ t.v., play staion 3 and $500.00 cash last Friday night the lap top is a h.p. and we have the reciept and serial# hopefully my son will get it back instead of it going to the sheriff sale. The only way she is out on the street is she is a paid narc!!!!
Is this girl related to the Lybarger that was killed earlier this year in an accident. He was a thief too.

She is out because she is a snitch. How many crimes are the courts going to ignore so they can get information. She is a violent offender and a thief. How can law enforcement justify letting her stay on the streets.

Thats why its called a confidential informant. The cops don’t tell so the snitch can stay on the job for them.
