MASON CITY – This Monday, October 31st, a city council candidate “open house” will be held in Mason City.
For the past 20 plus years, a group of community minded people have been hosting a forum for the public to ask questions of city council candidates. The event was formerly “sponsored” at The Elks Lodge, The Moose Lodge and most recently, The Hanford Inn.
This year, the event is taking place at the Prime N Wine, 3000 4th Street Southwest, in the banquet room from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Park board candidates are invited to attend as well.
This event is open to all.
