On a cold and wet, April 15th morning, revellie and roll call started at 7 am. With the love of portraying history in their hearts, the new people endurred the freezing, early morning hours to learn how it was to live and fight during the Civil War. The United States is marking the 150th Anniversary of the Civil war this week and these people are practicing for their part they will play in the reenactments this summer. They were being taught how to load blank ammo and being warned on the importance of how to approach a cannon. If approached wrong it can be fatal.
They practiced throughout the day Friday at Trolley Park in Clear Lake.
