Seven MCHS students to be inducted into academic hall of fame

mchs-front-entrance-2012MASON CITY – A ceremony will be held prior to commencement on May 31 for seven seniors who earned 4.0 grade point averages at Mason City High School.

On Sunday, May 31, seven members of the Mason City High School Class of 2015 will be inducted into the school’s Academic Hall of Fame. They have earned a cumulative 4.0 grade point average over their four years at Mason City High School. A special ceremony will be held in the FEMA Room at 12:45 p.m. prior to Commencement. Family members, relatives, and guests are invited to attend. Daniel Long, Mason City High School Principal, will recognize the students and their accomplishments individually and induct each student with a brass plaque displaying each senior’s name and year of graduation.

The names of students who have earned this distinction and their parents are as follows:

Jenna Cornick, daughter of Jim and Jeanne Cornick
Kendall Cornick daughter of Jeff and Peggy Cornick
Madeline Kim, daughter of Kwang and Julie Kim
Ellie Lehmann, daughter of Mark and Kathie Lehmann
Anna Riesen, daughter of William and Mary Riesen
Ashley Rottinghaus, daughter of Joe M. and Shari Rottinghaus Elijah Warfield, son of Roger Warfield and Michelle Quinones
