MASON CITY – The NIACC baseball team is ranked ninth in this week’s NJCAA Division II poll heading into the NJCAA North Plains District Tournament, which starts Saturday against Southeast CC (Neb.) in Beatrice, Neb.
NIACC, which won the NJCAA Region XI tournament, was ranked 12th in last week’s poll.
NIACC (46-13) was ranked 20th in the April 20 poll and that was the first time since the May 22, 2013 poll (19th) that the Trojans were in the NJCAA Division II rankings.
