ATLANITC – An Iowa teen died this past weekend after a one vehicle rollover.
On March 29, 2014, at 11:40 a.m., the Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a one-vehicle accident on 570th Street in Cass County. A 2006 Chevy Monte Carlo driven by Austin Michael Oldenkamp, 18, of Griswold, IA, was northbound on 570th Street when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle entered the west ditch, rolling twice and landing on its wheels. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $7000. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. No passengers were in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
