MANCHESTER, IOWA – This local golf pro from Rock Falls just chipped his life into a sand trap after he was nailed for stealing upwards of $127,000 from a golf club he worked for.
Joshua Dockum, sources tell NIT, grew up on an acreage near Rock Falls, and had a penchant for hitting long drives on the golf course. He went to Nora Springs – Rock Falls schools and later became a golf instructor. He worked for area golf courses and was a salesman for Centennial Oaks Golf Course.
Dockum (pictured at top), 38, was arrested late in 2025 on warrants for first-degree theft and forgery, stemming from his employment at Pin Oak Pub & Links in Manchester, Iowa. He was employed there from 2019 to 2023 as a manager. Reportedly, he stole over $127,000 using various nefarious methods. He was charged with felony theft, forgery and identity theft for crimes committed as far back as 2019. He later agreed to a plea deal for these crimes.
In December of 2025, Dockum was sentenced to ten years in a state prison and ordered to pay victim restitution that is not yet determined.
Dockum is now residing at the Iowa Medical & Classification Center in Coralville, Iowa, since December 12, 2025 at 5:29 AM, records show. His scheduled release is set for June 20, 2030.
