Leroy Dale Bethke, age 67, of Osage, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at MercyOne North Iowa in Mason City. Leroy was born on November 6, 1958, in Osage, the son of Marvin Sr. and Phyllis (Wendorff) Bethke. He graduated from Osage Community High School.
Leroy worked at McNealy Sanitation and Mitchell County Landfill. He was a member of 1st Baptist Church in Osage. Leroy enjoyed playing the guitar and outdoor sports. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents Marvin Sr. and Phyllis Bethke and sister-in-law, Mary T. Bethke.
He is survived by his siblings, David (Jennifer) Bethke, Carl (Mary M.) Bethke, Darlene (Allyn) Sheldon, Barbara (Murray R.) Cornwell, DeWayne Bethke, Marvin Jr. Bethke, Kenneth (Debra) Bethke; and by 24 nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews.
Services will be held next spring.
