Jackie “Jack” Lee Reich II, 58, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held at 1pm on Sunday November 23rd at the Mason City VFW.

Manly — Jackie “Jack” Lee Reich II, 58, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa.

A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held at 1pm on Sunday November 23rd at the Mason City VFW, 1603 South Monroe, Mason City, Iowa 50401. Memorials may be directed to the family in Jack’s memory.

Jackie Lee was born on December 16, 1966, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Jackie Reich Sr. and Susan (Adams) Nitcher. In 1981 he met the love of his life, Betty Linda Flores. Jack lived a life defined by hard work, loyalty, and a deep devotion to the people he cherished.

A proud over-the-road truck driver, Jack spent decades traveling the open highways. He found peace in the rhythm of the road and took pride in the work he did, always providing for his family with strength and dedication.

At home, Jack was happiest outdoors- camping, tending to his yard, caring for his garden, and cooking meals to share with anyone who showed up. He was the glue that kept the home together. Above all else, he treasured time with his grandchildren, who brought him endless joy.

Jack is survived by his mother, Susan Nitcher; his loving wife, Linda Flores; his four children, Kristina Westendorf, Michael Reich, Jackie Lee (Jamie) Reich lll, and Joshua Reich; his beloved grandchildren, who will carry his memory forward: Erika Westendorf, David Westendorf Jr, Brody Reich, Gracey Reich, Briella Reich, Jackson Servantez, Cash Servantez, Nevaeh Cheney, Rylee Cheney, Mikkiah Reich, Brandon Laster, Mercedes Reich, Tristan Reich, Jayden Reich, Joshua Reich, Ava Reich, Jayce Reich, Ryder Reich, Amari Reich, Novah Reich; his great-grandchild, David Charles Westendorf lll; his siblings, Paul Reich, Nick Reich, Michelle (Mike) Clayton, and Laurie (Raymond) Nitcher-Richardson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jack Sr. Reich, and his granddaughter, Sophia.

Jack leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and family- one that will live on in every story told, every garden grown, and every mile traveled in his honor.
