Jeffrey J. Howie, 68, of Garner, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Concord Care Center in Garner.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Garner. A private family burial will be held in Concord Township Cemetery.

Jeffrey James Howie, the son of James and Dorothy (Baack) Howie, was born on January 29, 1956, in Mason City. He was baptized and confirmed at the United Presbyterian Church in Garner. Jeff graduated from Garner-Hayfield High School in 1974. After graduation, Jeff joined the family business, Circle H Implement in Garner. He worked for many years in the Farm and Agriculture business. On April 21st, 1979 Jeff was united in marriage to Jolene Gilbert. Known for his mechanical skills, he had a passion for fixing anything that needed repair. Jeff also enjoyed fishing and remote-controlled vehicles.

Jeff is survived by his three children, Billy Howie, Jesse (Shannon) Howie and Morgan (Austin) Promes; four grandchildren, Charlotte and Vinnie Howie and Ivy and Ada Promes; Jolene Howie; sister, Barbara (Keith) Lembo; brother, Jay Howie; sister, Beth (David) Delagardelle; brothers-in-law, Larry (Pat) Gilbert, Willie (Beth) Gilbert, Kim Gilbert (special friend, Tally Albertson) and Rick (Diane) Gilbert; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Bill and Delores Gilbert; infant daughter, Maggie Mae Howie; nephew, Daniel Delagardelle; niece, Emily Gilbert; and brother-in-law, David Gilbert.
