CLEAR LAKE – A Texas woman suffered injuries while traveling south near Clear Lake and striking a deer.
According to the Cerro Gordo county sheriff’s office, on the morning of August 11, 2024, at 5:11 AM, 26-year-old Jasmin Soto of Abilene, Texas, was traveling southbound on Interstate 35 near mile marker 188, when she collided with a deer that entered onto the roadway in front of her vehicle. Soto suffered minor cuts and bruising and was treated by Mason City Fire Department Paramedics for her injuries.
