CHARLES CITY – A Charles City woman, according to police, has been busy driving drunk, blowing through stop signs, toting weed, and generally driving illegally.
Keisha Conley (pictured at top), age 43 of Charles City, was stopped just before midnight by police on May 10, 2024, in the 700 block of North Main Street. Â After an investigation, she was charged with second-offense operating while intoxicated, driving while barred, and other traffic infractions.

Conley was also stopped and arrested by Charles City police on April 7, 2024, after running a stop sign at the intersection of North Jackson Street and Richings Street, and charged with second-offense operating while intoxicated.
Conley’s drunk driving began with an arrest on December 8, 2023, just after midnight, in Charles City. Â She was stopped by police in the 900 block of Kelley Street after running a stop sign. Â Police found marijuana during the investigation. Â She was also charged with first-offense operating while intoxicated.
All of these cases are in the courts at this time. A jury trial is scheduled for June 20 for the December 8 arrest.
