FOREST CITY – Winnebago Industries this week announced that Tom Halvorson is celebrating 50-years of employment with the company’s Winnebago Motorhome group.

Halvorson is the eighth Winnebago Industries employee in the Company’s 64-year history to reach that level of seniority joining Harlan Rodberg (Winnebago Motorhomes), Larry Kearney (Winnebago Motorhomes), Devon Miller (Newmar Corporation), Glenn Blaser (Winnebago Motorhomes), Merle Aanrud (Winnebago Motorhomes), Virginia Hauge (Winnebago Motorhomes) and Daniel Van Note (Winnebago Motorhomes) as the other employees to reach that distinction.

Halvorson started his career in May of 1972 as a mechanic and quickly transitioned to a position in the Machine Shop creating tooling and fixtures used in production. He continues in that role today.
“We are very pleased to recognize and congratulate Tom for his dedication and commitment to Winnebago Industries and specifically our Winnebago Motorhome team throughout his 50 years of service,” said Huw Bower, President, Winnebago Outdoors. “Tom’s contributions and service are commendable, and we are thrilled to welcome him into our honored circle of 50-year employees.

In his spare time, Halvorson enjoys outdoor activities including spending time at his lake cabin and using his two Winnebago motorhomes with his family.
