CEDAR FALLS – A top Northern Iowa Panther guard has been put out of action for this week’s opening action due to COVID-19, the school announced.
In accordance with COVID-19 protocols, UNI junior guard Trae Berhow did not make the trip with the team to the Crossover Classic in Sioux Falls, SD. The Panthers are scheduled to tip off Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 3:30pm (CT) vs. Western Kentucky on ESPNU.
Berhow, of Mayer, Minnesota, finished the 2019-20 regular season shooting 50.6 percent from the field, 45.2 percent from beyond the arc, and averaging 13.0 points per game to earn a spot on the Most Improved Team.
