Zoo to offer after school special for kids at Lime Creek Nature Center

MASON CITY – The Blank Park Zoo of Des Moines will visit the Lime Creek Nature Center for an “After School Special” on Monday, October 29 at 4 p.m.

With Halloween just around the corner, Zoo staff will bring along some live animals that many people think of as “scary.” But are they really as scary as they seem?

There is no charge for this program but registration is required – call 641-423-5309.
