collage_allMASON CITY – A rare World War II Corsair and Stearman will be on display next to North Iowa Air Service at the Mason City Airport on July 10th through 12th as part of the Red Tail Rise Above Traveling Exhibit.

The CAF Red Tail Squadron’s main objectives are to inspire youth and preserve the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen.

Accompanying the aircraft is the RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit, showing a short movie call “RISE ABOVE” that focuses on what the Tuskegee Airmen had to overcome. This movie is shown on a 160-degree panoramic curved movie screen with seating for 35. Admission is free and this 30 minute movie is an inspiration to everyone.

Every student who visits the RISE ABOVE Traveling Exhibit is given an inspirational “Dog Tag” with the six guiding principles of the CAF Red Tail Squadron’s Rise Above educational program. These principles reflect how the Tuskegee Airmen rose above all of the obstacles they faced in order to fly and fight for America. The dog tags read: Aim High – Believe In Yourself – Use Your Brain – Never Quit – Be Ready to Go – Expect To Win.

SCHEDULE:

Thursday, July 10th from 11-7 pm – Last movie will be at 6:30 PM

Friday, July 11th from 11-7 pm – Last movie will be at 6:30 PM

Saturday, July 12th from 9-5 – Last movie will be at 4:30 PM
