MASON CITY – A 51-year-old woman and her 37-year-old husband were arrested in Mason City for stealing, even as they await trial for allegedly stealing in Cedar Falls.

Mason City police were called to Kohl’s Department Store, located at 556 Indianhead Drive, to take a theft report. After an investigation, police arrested Sheila Marie Clay, age 51, and Andrew Arthur Clay, age 37, both of Charles City. Both were taken to jail, booked on theft charges, and released.

Both persons – who have numerous previous theft arrests – are also facing 3rd degree theft charges in Black Hawk county at this time as well, after an arrest by Cedar Falls police on March 26, 2014 at the Wal-Mart Supercenter at 525 Brandilyn. They are awaiting court dates on those charges.

  1. What in the hell is wrong with people anymore that they think they can just steal anything they want? What ever happened to working for what you want?

  2. I think this a mom and son dual. I just wish they would stay the hell out of our town, we have enough losers running around.
