SOLON – A vehicle driven by an Iowa man crossed a center line on a highway near Solon, Iowa on Saturday and struck a vehicle with 5 persons inside, killing the Iowa man and a passenger inside the other vehicle.
According to a report, the incident took place at about 9 PM Saturday, March 23rd, about 2 miles north of Solon on Highway 1.
Wilbur Bigler, 68, of West Union and Madison Hubert, 18, of Evergreen, Colorado were both pronounced dead at the scene. The other four injured persons were all from Michigan and were transported by ambulance to University of Iowa Hospitals.
