MASON CITY – A blood drive will be held at NIACC on Tuesday, February 19 from 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM and on Wednesday, February 20 from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. The drive will be held on the LifeServe Mobile Bus. Registration will be in the Activity Center at NIACC at 500 College Drive and is sponsored by NIACC Student Senate.

LifeServe Blood Center would like to encourage people who have never donated blood to give it a try. Eligible blood donors must be at least 16 years old, should weigh at least 120 pounds and should be in general good health. Blood donors are encouraged to eat a good meal and drink plenty of water prior to making a blood donation and a pre-printed form of identification is required to register to donate blood. More volunteer blood donors are needed to fill in for regular donors who may not always be able to give blood.

For more information or to schedule an appointment to donate, please contact Lisa Jahnel at (641) 422-4419. You can also schedule your appointment online at http://www.lifeservebloodcenter.org.
