Motorcycle collision Saturday injures three

logo-iowa-state-patrolBRITT – Three North Iowans were injured Saturday in a collision involving two motorcycles.

According to a report, two motorcycles – a 2013 Harley Davidson driven by Anthony Duane Babcock, 32, of Wesley and a 2004 Yamaha driven by Shane Allen Brock, 35, of Garner – were both headed north on James Avenue near Britt at about 8 PM Saturday, June 15th when one driver attempted to pass the other and the two motorcycles collided.

Injured in the incident were: Babcock, Brock and Tracy Marie Brock, 32, of Garner. All three persons were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN.

The report indicated that charges are pending.

The Iowa State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office, Britt Police and Fire, Mayo One and Mercy Airmed as well as the Rochester Police Department.

Allen have a little respect for the families and children of these people and dont ASSUME you know the facts.

While I’m not familiar with James Ave, my first thought was, hey, I’m cool, let’s race and see how fast we can go. Then I read, Rochester Police, they’re a little ways from home. I’d be interested in reading the outcome of this. Sure wish I had a 2013 Harley…..
