Manly woman charged with serious assault for allegedly punching bartender

MASON CITY – A Manly woman was arrested this week on a warrant for serious assault causing injury.

Julie Ann Hove, 41, was picked up by Cerro Gordo County sheriff’s deputies on December 11th at Maurice’s Clothing Store in Mason City after a citation was issued by the Clear Lake Police Department on December 10th for a serious assault that took place on December 3rd at Rookies Bar in Clear Lake.

According to the Clear Lake Police Department, Hove “assaulted a bartender at Rookies Bar. She punched the bartender and cut his lip. He had to have stitches.”

Hove posted $1,000 bond on December 12th. She has a court date set for December 19th.

It was a bouncer that she punched.That was after she threw her bf on the floor when she yanked him off his barstool.Pretty mean ass b*tch!I wouldn’t wanna piss her off!6 stitches in his lip for doing his job and trying to get the psycho out of the bar which she wasn’t allowed to be in in the first place.
