THORNTON – A Mason City woman was arrested in Thornton early Saturday morning after an assault.
According to the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s media report, Nina Irene Read, 32, of Mason City was arrested for domestic abuse simple assault, public intoxication, and interference with official acts in front of a bar in Thornton after authorities were called just after 1 AM.
Read recently posted on her Facebook page “I get knocked down but I get up again! you can’t keep me down.”
Read was booked into the Cerro Gordo County Jail at 2:57 AM.
